Thanks. You, as a writer, knows how good it feels to "hit" it and like what you wrote. LIke the way it comes out.

I really try to put things in my own words. It would be easy to talk in meteorological terms but truth is everyone else does. And, I'm a writer not a computer programmer able to paint Danny psychedelic colors.

I write. And, I like to educate on Hurricane History.

I've had so many people tell me they are "confused" and not sure what to believe.

They don't live and breathe this like we do.

When discussion on air waxes poetic on five different models it's like trying to inhale more than 3 perfumes at the same time and remember which smelled like which.

Add in... kids today (and I say kids meaning Millenials) don't watch the weather on CBS or NBC. They don't have a weather guy they have trusted for the last 20 years. They have multiple APPS or... they just use the Iphone App..

My daughter was on a Wolf Pack bus at NC State with one of the guys from their Meteorology Program. He was curious which APP she likes best. He was in shock she had no weather app... she explained the phone has the Apple Wxr and her mother does weather (which probably went over his head) he put an APP on for her..  Doubt she takes time from facetiming her best friend in Miami to check the APP.

Hope none of my sons are reading this lol but it's true.

They all use Netflix and HULU... not (oh my gosh) TWC and they go by sound bites they hear on Twitter from NHC or someone who quotes NHC.

Kids who hang out with my kids or grew up with them have already texted me, whatsapped me, etc... the moment I go on Facebook there's a message.......  "So like what's really happening with this storm?"

On one level there is way too much information.

Old timers here remember when you put on the Weather Radio or called the number for the
Weather Service and listen to a quick forecast. Sometimes it mentioned a ship at sea ..ship reports...

Now it's a thesis on various model logic.

I try to keep it fun but informative. And, try and share info on Twitter to those who don't go on Twitter as much as they can't get past that character limit...

:)

Besos Bobbi
Ps... sorry on typos am tired from typing and had a long day cleaning out the garage while peeking at loops of Danny fighting the shear..
