I hadn't even noticed you posted about the LLC under the ASCAT pass.

I was looking at the descending passes from ASCAT A and B:

I guess it might have also been a little elongated at that time, a long time ago at this point. This was more recent:

But missed a lot of it. I wish they had some other version of these images too, like wind barbs on a map you can zoom in on. Very hard to make out sometimes.

I see this message about RapidScat on the ISS:

"Sat 2015-08-15 Z03:00           present (as of Aug 24)     We are currently unable to produce science data from RapidScat. The engineering team is working on the problem. No estimated time yet to return to normal operations."
