I don't really know if there is any spin around yet. It seems to still be a big mess at the moment.

If there is anything to the specific place the NHC drew their X at 8am, then I would lean toward something around there:

But I don't know. They draw the X to represent the disturbance location, but the disturbance is not a point. They call it a "a trough of low pressure", but why they picked that particular place on the trough, I don't know. My eyes play tricks on me when I stare at it all.
