Well we do have something near Florida, but it will be moving away from Florida most likely before it would develop. So no crossing cities off the list.

But the really long term GFS that is rather meaningless this far out has a strong tropical storm sitting over Jim in 384 hours (October 3rd):

I don't even know where that comes from. A piece of Tropical Depression Nine looks to break off and form the new low that does that. (seriously?) Meanwhile TD9 and 95L combine to form a powerful hurricane that moves off into the Atlantic. Meanwhile, maybe two other strong tropical storms (maybe one a hurricane) pass near and/or over Newfoundland.

Or there is the Euro, which is quiet near land right now. There's a model for everything.
