That link is not run specific. If you look at previous runs it has had something too. The Canadian is often nutty, however if you look at some of the other models they show something as well and have been showing something at times in the Gulf, although weaker than the Canadian. It's not clear where it might go which is what the WPC seems to indicate with erratic movement. It might never be anything, or at least very organized. But if it were to sit for a few days, maybe conditions could change. There's lots of shear and dry air in the Gulf right now so that would have to change first. Even if it were as strong as the Canadian has been having it, it would not be more than a tropical storm. It's not that far out, so the fact that none of the models that I have seen have it any stronger is a good sign. Things don't seem to be very conducive for any surprises right now.
