I believe this started as an ULL that gobbled up, or ripped apart, TD Nine. It might have had some dry air it had to contend with nearing the center earlier. It's developing more at what appears to be the center now.

The Euro still has it out to sea, but I don't know about that. Most models have a Sandy situation, a high blocking the path and forcing it left. Oddly, looking back at Sandy, the Euro was the one showing the turn first, the GFS being the one that was late in finally showing the turn.

I wonder if the Euro gets dropsonde data like the GFS. The NOAA G-IV was out Tuesday sampling. It should be out for another research mission anytime now. Air Force about to take off again soon too.
