Sandra: Latest-Forming Category 4 Pacific Hurricane

What can I say? The shear was low before Thanksgiving. I saw unusually warm water for this time of year, and what looked like three fronts merging, so I guessed the models were suggesting a trend towards a hurricane near or on Thanksgiving (Turkey Day) near Baja.

I sort of called that one....
