My grandmother is 94 and still lives by herself and probably can't smell very well weither. The gas company shut off the gas at her house, but now other people were trying to test it and the gas company wants $200 to turn it back on. She'll just have to be without hot water for awhile while my uncle and aunt help sort it out.
I was not sure if Jamaica's radar was still working. They change the link to the page a lot and often times it just doesn't work. I tried loading it to see if at least one image was current, but couldn't get anything so I quit trying. I forget that some other people do mirror radar sites for active storms.
I got TWC back a few weeks ago when I switched my cable service. I keep forgetting to watch TWC now. I believe Dave Schwartz used to be on late at night too, perhaps a decade ago, when I would watch him. I can remember him as being one of the personalities on there I recognize from way back.
I've been meaning to do the radar map for awhile so people could tell how far a radar extends. A lot more coverage than I thought actually, although at the edge less stuff is picked up. The eastern Carib. is not quite as well covered as it seems. |
