flooding here in La.

Could not get on for awhile, we had 25" of rain in 36 hours....not fun. We did 't flood- but were flooded in, our house was an island. 40,000 houses did flood though. We were stuck here for 6 days, watching pissed off snakes and alligators swim by. On our little farm, we prepare for things like this, but it was still nerve-wrecking. Now, they are already talking about 99L. ugh....any thoughts? The Bermuda high moved west not far from us, which would push storms to the west of us. A few models show 99L curving NW and missing the Caribbean, so for now it is a waiting game.
