Yes and that area appears to have dissipated for now as well. As for the shear I don't know what to make of it at this point. Seems like it has been more prevalent since the 2005 season. But can you attribute that to climate change? Or is it possible that that active 20 years cycle ended in 2005 and now we are in a period of less activity similar to what we had in the 70s and 80s. Because the shear seems to be more of a problem in the Atlantic basin more than in the other basins.
