looks better than that at the moment, tenacious li'l thang... #1`gets the red, but it is 1,200 miles away from lesser Antilles..., so #3 has my attention (& #3 moves into gulf)

the ULL byTX just means I don't need to water the lawn

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. A large area of disturbed weather associated with a westward-moving
tropical wave is located about 1200 miles east of the Lesser
Antilles.  This system is gradually becoming better organized, and
conditions are forecast to be favorable for a tropical depression
to form this weekend or early next week. This disturbance is
expected to move toward the west-northwest and then northwest over
the central Atlantic during the next several days.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent

2. Cloudiness and showers located just north of the northern Leeward
Islands are spreading west-northwestward with no signs of
organization.  Environmental conditions are not expected to be
conducive for significant development.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent

3. A small area of disturbed weather associated with a weak low
has formed between Cuba and the western Bahamas. This activity is
expected to spread westward across southern Florida and the Florida
Keys later today and Saturday. Upper-level winds are not favorable
for additional development.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent

.SYNOPSIS...A SURFACE TROUGH OVER THE CENTRAL BAHAMAS WILL MOVE
W TO ACROSS S FLORIDA TODAY AND TONIGHT. ANOTHER SURFACE TROUGH
WILL MOVE NW ACROSS THE SE WATERS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...ACROSS
THE S CENTRAL WATERS SAT AND SAT NIGHT AND OVER THE SW PORTION SUN
AND SUN NIGHT. BOTH TROUGHS WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. OTHERWISE...WEAK HIGH PRES OVER THE
AREA WILL CHANGE LITTLE INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
