Buncha Sheared Garbage!

Like 90%+ of the storms over the last 4 seasons, Matthew is sheared to hell and the LLC is exposed.
This is nearly exactly what happened to pre-Hermine in the same area. Anticyclone travelling with the disturbance.. gets into/near the East Carib and the anticyclone shifts off S/SW and imparts 20-25 kts of shear over the system... then travels along at the same speed as the disturbance so shear doesn't abate.
...frustrating to watch garbage systems like this. So far, Earl has been the only one we've had that actually looked like a healthy TC. |
