Tampa has been more consistent, mostly warm, around 80 for the high, and hardly any rain in months. Last year it was around January 1st when it finally cooled down. This year, still a bit warm. It was briefly cold for a few days when the college football championship game was here, but back to about 10 degrees above normal, which is near a record some days. Hasn't been below freezing at Tampa International Airport since January 13th, 2011.

Meanwhile in Murcia, Spain, in southeastern Spain near the Mediterranean, first snow on the ground since 1983 some articles say:
