Tampa got within one degree of its all time record high Wednesday (May 17th)

Posted by Chris in Tampa on 5/18/2017, 12:15 pm

The highest temperature ever recorded at Tampa International Airport is 99°F. We continue to have very little rain. Depending on wind direction, some mornings you can smell smoke due to all the fires around.

It's noon and it's already 90 today. (89 yesterday at this time when we hit 98 at 3:34pm) Due to an east wind, sea breeze isn't  making it to us, so we'll probably have more record heat today.
