It was not wise to put into a discussion that a TD that fought off shear and dry air for so long a "NEVER" comment as it was more editorial than meteorological discussion.

To say "never" was a hard ledge to crawl back from...

Surprised me. Something I've had to learn the hard way in that sometimes less is more.

Especially the last few seasons when we have seen waves and designated systems come back.

Should never have put it into a statement as again it's not a scientific point of view but an opinion.

It may not come back and just stay one of those essentially weak but stubborn waves that enhance F Florida thunderstorms and possibly squeak out a TD again in the GOM.

Or it could hit a very warm patch of water over the Gulfstream and suddenly ramp up (especially as it's a small system and always has been) into a small TS for a day or two on landfall in S FL.

Time will tell. Definitely been interesting to watch when we usually have "clear sailing weather" in the tropics this time of year
