Stay safe. I guess you are a bit inland and a slower moving storm wouldn't have the highest winds getting as close to you even if it did strengthen quite a bit. The models have some divergent opinions on what happens with the storm after a few days. Some keep it around quite a bit. It could be like Allison in that regard.
