add watershed & channels under "options"
to see more than just Harris County select "ALL" under "gauges by agency"
can change time period, etc... often in fast downpours, a shorter time-frame gives a more accurate total, due to the time-period they have it set to automatically update the 24-hr totals
there are a few gauges down by Sugar Land that seem to be perpetually screwed up... one says it is 570 ft over top of banks...
due to never-ending Hwy 290 construction, they removed the gauge for Cypress by Hwy 290 - hope it goes up again when they are done & it's more accurate than in the past - it often under-reported totals
the posts I referenced from "Jeff Lindner" on this board - Jeff is a meteorologist with Harris County Flood Control District - this map is their baby... they have a better version for their use, I am sure ;) |
