Florida Emergency GIS Response Team (EGRT) Reaches Out to Canetalk for Crowd sourcing Efforts
Posted by Spin_Doctor on 8/30/2017, 2:02 pm
This effort is developed by the Florida Emergency GIS Response Team (EGRT). Modeled after the Texas EGRT (http://www.texasegrt.org), local and state government GIS professionals will be organized into a rapidly deployable GIS resource built to support special events, disaster response, and recovery efforts.

I have received permission from the EGRT to recruit people from Canetalk and Hurricanecity.com  who may have time to do some crowd sourcing using the internet, Facebook, Twitter etc. They need Harvey wind, flood or rescue pictures appropriately vetted, so please follow the instructions below carefully. Jim, if you would like to post this on HC I can forward to you the email authorizing you to post it on HC. You may post the vetted pictures here on Canetalk and I will copy the URL or you can send them directly to me at greg.gibbs.em@gmail.com and I will get them uploaded to the viewer.
