The inner eyewall is collapsing. She went through another EWRC today. It's just wrapping up now. The last two cross-sections of the storm show diminishing inner wind maximas with corresponding intensification of the outer. Now the inner is basically dissolved.

The spiral eyewall presentation is likely a closed outer eyewall with a sliver of the inner trying to hold on. Once the larger eye clears, I'd expect a longer burst of intensification .. unless yet another EWRC begins.

You never know. She's had a bunch of them so far.
