Thanks for keeping up with things! Very busy at moment. My dad is starting to get boards out from 2004 when we boarded up for Charley. Not putting them up yet, just kind of seeing where they would go. They used to be numbered but some don't seem to be now I guess. I was getting some information together for my neighborhood association about how bad our front entrance floods. In even tropical storms the water level can come up with the tide enough that it floods the one way in and out of the neighborhood to the extent it is impassable by a lot of cars. Multiple cars have stalled before and had to be towed. (and then have expensive repairs) That was in Debby in 2012. (My video from then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJRxSbpoMMU&t=1m16s ) I forgot, sheriff even put up road signs saying road was closed, though there were no barricades. I've talked with a lot of neighbors already about the storm. A lot of people don't know we have that problem. You don't know unless you went out in it at the time. |
