Why are some forecasters so in love with GFS. I look at it but I like some of the other models, that have a better track record with this storm. Also the Euro is having a better track record than GFS right now

I keep telling people watch the models and when they start all agreeing for a couple of runs this you will have a better idea. These models are wiper blading too much to know for sure right now. One run has west coast of Florida the next one has the east coast. Then 24 hours later the two models swap,

Even as a CAT 5, unless you are in a surge zone, you have  30 to 60 mile area that is going to be really bad. outside of that there will be damage but not catastrophic level. I don't see, in Florida, a repeat of Andrew where response is so slow. Someone in Florida is very likely to get something out of this. The state has been on the ball and preparing for the worst.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and celebrate everything in Between

Just an opinion, nothing more, nothing less.
