Newest Euro is coming in now but there is a bit of a West shift in the GFS and HWRF. Not much of one, but enough to put the bullseye on MIami's back. Euro gonna be interesting to see what happens.

The worst thing I'm hearing today in Tampa Bay area is "It's not going to hit us. It's going up the east side." Two things:
1) The Tropical Storm force winds will be extending out over 150-200 miles at that time, so if the center is over say just off of Melbourne, they're still getting TS winds there. Hurricane winds will be 100 miles from center some are saying so if the center goes through Orlando, Tampa will be getting hurricane winds.

2) It really is not going to take much of a shift at all for this to go back to being a west coast hit. We're talking about the difference between Appalachicola and Panama City. It's not much at all mileage wise. Florida is such a thin state that people don't realize the east side and west side are very close. And we're talking about a system still in Puerto Rico and 4-5 days out from that important turn. A 12 hour delay in the turn and the west coast gets hit.
