Cuba Appears To Have Annihilated Irma's Core

Even though she hasn't even passed over the main island, her FL winds have plummeted to barely cat 3 levels. Her eye is small and wobbly, and convection has eroded the western eyewall to the point that it is almost open.
She still has another 12+ hrs along the coast too. |
