...minute moment trying to decide which part of Florida to visit?
When and where will she turn? According to Public Advisory at 11am, she is nearing the end of the ridge. It is like the Old West where two gun fighters are waiting for one to twitch....with disasterous results.
I found it interesting that the watches etc...have now been extended up the East Coast...GA and SC. 'See where they are now evacuating islands around Hilton Head.
"Wind hazards from Irma are also expected to spread northward along the coast of Georgia and South Carolina where a Hurricane Watch has been issued."
Feel sorry for all those that evacuated into Atlanta...they are still going to get some rough weather...and a high possibility of those small but destructive tornadoes (if one decides to land on or near your property.) Those are so unpredictible and spotters cannot see them at night so warnings are mostly dependent on instrumentation.
Not much sleep in Florida tonight...hope people are napping now..but I bet not, they are glued...as are we...to media.
