They just said it on local news here...this could be Charley all over again in that Tampa Bay had the line right over them and it looks like it made a right turn. Meteorologist said it's as if Tampa Bay has a bunch of fans over their city blowing major hurricanes away from them. DId it with Georges, too.

Too early to tell if this is a trend or just a wobble but it's looking more and more like Everglades City to Naples is going to be the landfall destination. It would have to make a pretty sharp turn now back to the NW for it stay off the west coast.
