I must admit, as I have gotten older, the "excitement" of a hurricane is outweighed by what it does to people and locations. Ivan and Katrina gave me a lifetime of damage in just 14 months of time. I was relieved Irma stayed away.
I am saddened at the destruction she is wreaking on our families and friends throughout Florida, especially since I know many I went to law school with throughout Florida, who reside in Miami-Dade. I hope everyone pulls through. |
