This board knows how the tropics work and anyone that spends more than a few minutes looking at the environment around and ahead of Maria knows that she will strengthen shortly.
This is either an NHC "East Coast" Warning without saying it or a C.Y.A. from the forecaster and the NHC management.
The Herbert Box now becomes the topic of discussion IMHO....
While we are NOT in a 2005 situation, we are looking at a possible Trifecta for 2017. 1 in the Gulf. 1 in Florida and 1 on the East Coast! All Cat 4 or 4+...... |
