Re: Calm Before the Next Atlantic Storm?

You just kinda feel this is the year of a Mitch, an Opal, a Wilma....a year where the Caribbean is going to produce an October major hurricane. Seems to happen once every 3-4 years. It's just been the way the year has gone. I've always said here in Tampa Bay, if a major hurricane is ever going to hit, it's most likely to hit in October. That's when the area is most vulnerable. Troughs dig down deeper and tend to push storms from the Caribbean more N and NE towards the west coast of Florida or the NE Gulf Coast. So we'll see what the next week has to offer.

If you prefer to embed something manually for any of these sites, you can also do that. For Ustream, you can only embed live videos manually rather than using the above feature. No other sites are currently supported.

If you embed something manually please be aware that due to the security restrictions on some browsers manually entering embedded code may not allow it to appear correctly when you view it. However, after you post the message it will work properly. This will not be a problem if you use the above feature to add embedded content.
