Re: did y'all leave your boards on your house?

Posted by Chris in Tampa on 10/4/2017, 1:27 pm

About half of them. Feeling pretty good about that right now. We might start putting some of the rest back up sometime tomorrow possibly if the track is still about where it is. If it were to shift a little more west we might wait until Friday. We could get it all done Friday if we had to. Saturday we would have to evacuate if needed.

There's a window to the left that is uncovered:

12 panels total for screened pool area. (9 remain up)
10 panels total for around the rest of the house (1 remains up)

But the other boards are still in the garage. We didn't put them away. 1 window that uses three panels already has some of the boards still up that we fasten the large panels to. Some of my larger patio furniture is still in the house because they came in through some of those doors still boarded up. And given we did everything less than a month ago, we remember how we did everything else.

I got a lot of rest yesterday and will do so again tonight too so I'll be ready in case a lot of work needs to get done quickly. My dad just gassed up the car fully while he was out. Always good to get that done early.
