We have lots of half gallon plastic bottles. We filled them up during Irma. After the storm we used the water in the washing machine when doing laundry. We froze some smaller containers of water.
We turned the power off to most of the house when we left for Irma. We left a large freezer in the garage powered. It is on a circuit breaker that would pop when water hits it. |
