Heading into center at about the same time from same direction.

Air Force at 700mb level. Through 7:28am CDT.
NOAA at 750mb level. Through 7:34am CDT.

Planes about on top of each other on this image.

The 988mb vortex was extrapolated, not measured. Being at a different level might explain why it was slightly off. (that was from Air Force mission) NOAA track went through center but there is no vortex yet. It's about where the forecast track line starts (where there is a wind shift), which represents the 7am CDT NHC position.
