this was 1 yr before she passed away, but it really made her health go down much faster. Many of my siblings would go visit her in the nursing home, even after that, without getting a flu shot - even when the nursing home had a quarantine & would allow immediate family only as needed. Many in my family are hard-core homeopathics & think a flu shot is poison - willful ignorance is one of my pet peeves :(
