Nice info... it's interesting that in 2015, SC had their 1-1000 year flooding incident in Oct.  May I remember it well of having over 25" of rainfall in a 3 day period and watching on the news (which was funny but not so funny), of one of those huge green trash dumpsters floating away. Now I know that is nothing in comparison to what Harvey produced in Tx in 2017, but this just shows that at any given time any state can have their 1-1000 years flooding.

Springtime melt will be coming soon and we will hear stories coming out of areas of the Mississippi River of such flooding.

I remember well of the days I lived in Grand Forks ND, and having to deal with the Red River of the North flooding downtown and East Grand Forks during the spring melt and I often wonder what will this year bring with all the snow that the North has felt.

Food for thought....
