Not only did South Carolina have a 1/1000 year flood in 2015 but again in 2016.
Hard hit areas were the northeastern area of South Carolina and the southeastern area of North Carolina.
Locations such as Nichols, SC and Lumberton, NC were inundated. Nichols, SC today is still attempting to recover for the flooding of 2016.
Yes this can happen at anytime and any place even multiple years in a row. |
