City database complete

The long painstaking process of updating the hurricanecity database is now complete. To increase the accuracy of the stats I have referenced the (hurdat2) database for many of the past landfalls and also used the wind range rings of the hurrtrak program for guidance. I have also referenced the NHC reports of most past systems to see if actual measured readings matched the wind fields. In order to keep things fair I had to remove some cities and replace them with others to keep the distance apart consistant. Cities added are Puerto Plata Dominican republic, Tuxpan Mexico, Bay St Louis Mississippi, Bangor Maine, Exmore Virginia (delmarva) Palm Coast Florida, Homestead Florida, Southampton New York, New York City,(did this to replace long island) Steinhatchee Florida,(big bend) Tobago near Trinidad. The cities I have removed are Jacmel Haiti, Port Antonio Jamaica, Montego Bay Jamaica, Cabo Rojo Puerto Rico, Fajardo Puerto Rico,Flagler bch Florida, New Smyrna bch Floirida, Lake worth Florida, Gulfport Mississippi, Cape May New Jersey, Matagorda Texas, S Padre Isl Texas, Ft Pierce Florida, Jupiter Florida, Hilton head South Carolina, Deerfield bch Florida, Long Island NY, Hollywood Florida, Richmond Virginia, Fla City, Boynton bch , Boca Raton & Marineland Florida. Total removed 23 and added 11 for a total of 140 locations Newly added stat is return rates for Major hurricanes. Now I am in the process of calculating the rankings for Named storms, Hurricanes and major Hurricanes to be released probably next week. Then I will begin calculating my city predictions which I hope to release before June 1st.. http://www.hurricanecity.com/cities
