It's really interesting to compare cities that are affected most often with a storm/hurricane, hurricane and major hurricane.
Cape Hatteras and Bermuda are high on the list of storms/hurricanes, and even hurricanes, but not in the top 20 for major hurricanes.
Key West and Naples are not among the top 50 cities most affected by storms/hurricanes, or even top 20 hurricanes, but are on the top 20 for major hurricanes. |
