I like the rain. I finally won't have to water my yard this week. Over an inch and a half so far.

Recon Tuesday, if necessary.

From Plan of the Day: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/recon.php

Water vapor:

Visible:

The old site we used most often for satellite imagery no longer works for the Atlantic. ( http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/trop-atl.html  ) This is the new one, at least for now. (not sure if they will adjust the old one to be able to handle imagery from GOES-16)

You can find some other GOES-16 imagery sites on my satellite page here.
