Is Global Air Pressure Rising?

Wasn't 1000 mb about the average air pressure about 20 years ago?

Now it looks like 1020 millibar is average for the North Atlantic.

I know that global humidity is up due to climate change, but I have not heard anything about global air pressure rising.

Wouldn't this account for a lower number of storms?

And wouldn't the wind speeds typically associated with hurricane eye pressures have to be recalibrated for the increased pressure difference between the center of the storm and the average regional pressure?
