Good to know. I don't get the unwillingness to create another list. It seems bizarre. They knew it could be a problem but decided to wait until it actually could be a problem and then maybe in the future they might do something if it happened too much? Weird. If it's insensitive to use a name again in the regular list, it remains so with a name in the Greek alphabet. I know it comes around less, but seems like poor planning.

But then again, they're slow. They still won't assign official agencies to name storms in the South Atlantic, like off Brazil, and in the Mediterranean.
