This sets a record for Mobile, Alabama in one season. Previously, Mobile had been under Hurricane or Tropical Storm warnings and affected in some way by those storms, four times in one season. That season was 2005: Arlene, Cindy, Dennis, and Katrina.
Hurricane Zeta now breaks the record for most systems to lead to a warning/watch in recorded history for Mobile, Alabama: 5. If Zeta affects the Mobile area, that will also be the most systems to affect the Alabama coastline in one season at 5.
