Air Force hurricane hunters in Ida at about 5:51am CDT had 10 second estimated surface wind from SFMR instrument, that was noted as suspect, at 161mph. However, it was where you'd expect it to be in northeast quadrant. 30s flight level winds: 160mph; 10s flight level winds: 168mph |
