We've been using a soaker hose around our foundation. It just barely leaks water through the sides, doesn't take a lot of "keeping an eye on". It's a pain to mow/edge around, but does help keep it from cracking. We actually got some sprinkles in Cypress today, rain in other parts of Greater Houston:  we also have about 20% chance for scattered showers the rest of the week. Even being a bit cloudier helps keep the unbearable heat in the 90s, so a welcome relief. Keeping my fingers crossed for you ! |
