Upper level pulses-storm complexes being deposited in Northern Gulf

You can see it clearly in this visible loop. As the storms work there way around strong high pressure in Texas. Coming around the high they cross La. and then out into the Gulf. Yesterday morning some in La received 6 inches of rain associated with these pulses. More on the way overnight tonight. But short term forecast calls for expaning high pressure in Texas-shifting back toward La. In that case, I wouldn't be surprised to see these pulses continue, but further east, and perhaps be deposited off the Al-Fl coastline. By that time, shear in that area should relax some (along old frontal boundary). Just a hunch. Not referring to any model at all. Will be looking at N-Central to N-E Gulf off Al-Fl over in Fri-Sat timeframe. Here's the sat loop showing storms coming around the high over Tex and being deposited in the Gulf.
