| I moved to Texas from Florida six weeks ago, where the temperature today was just a few degrees cooler than the surface of the sun, as large birds dropped from the sky from heat stroke and the shoes of pedestrians glue themselves to the street as they passed by--it hasn't rained here since Cain killed his brother. I guess all this is to say that it gets worse. Now excuse me while I down another toxic dry-ice and freon and cocktail, it's what we newbie Texans do to keep cool. |
