I Googled "Hurricane Betsy" & lo & behold, Jim's site was the 2nd one that came up: http://www.hurricanecity.com/betsy.htm he's got a lot of stats there on her.  This line amazed me "Scienentist were blamed for erratic movement as they were flying research missions into Betsy".  My, how things have changes since '65
