On latest tropical update offered by TWC at 10:50 PM E, Lyons commented briefly on Tropical Storm Carlos, not giving it much of a chance for development south of Hawaii. He did mention the wave in the Eastern Atlantic, saying a tropical low was associated with it, which was moving more NW than W, and would soon bump up against the oceanic ridge to its north. But he did show a graph of the Calif coast, saying the best chance for surfing was along the Angeles-Ventura County line (although conditions will not be very strong there). And he did mention he fine restaurant-watering hole right along that boundary line. |
