The atmospheric environment is unfavorable for the disturbance in the bahamas and 97L. Strong shear zone remains along the path of both systems, now and in the the extended. A complex pattern has taken shape across the eastern US with a mostly difluent pattern and TUTT interaction. This givens the impression of tropical cyclogenesis, but both are mid-upper level induced convective bursts combined with tropical energy.
In conclusion, not much will come of these systems. However, the disturbance in the bahamas might form into a sub-tropical system in several days and this is questionable as it heads NE into the open atlantic. |
