HWRF Model

I was just skimming some papers on the latest HWRF.

Remember, it was forecasting a strong TC in Tampa Bay about a month ago (eyes rolling).

So, the way I read it, it focuses on SST, Shear, and Track.

I think it is missing out on a key ingredient:
Air instability and convective capping; aka convective potential.

More attention needs to be paid to the air a TC is travelling into.
