Remember, the Atlantic Basin shifted into an active cycle in 1995; and this cycle should run till around 2020 or 2025.
If this year isn't busy then next year will be. And after all, we can't have 15-20 named storms every year; even in the active cycle.
Other than the big flood on June 6th, Coastal Carolina weather has been great this season. The big eastern trough has kept temperatures under contol - to the point where we rarely even reach 90F.
Not exciting...but very pleasant.
