On VIS looks like the whole east half maybe getting exposed.

No shear around (about 3 or 4 knots) so the only explaination I can think of is that it is moving into the subsidence zone and a lot of sinking air is coming down on it.
Those long strings around the cirrus canopy is a good indicator.
Think of a fan blowing down from the top on to it.
What would you think you would see?
